Experimental granulation of peanut husk
The specialists of the ICK Group of companies were approached by a confectionary manufacturer with the question of the possibility of processing the husk, that remains after cleaning peanuts.
At ICK Group’s experimental granulation site, technical specialists tested the pellet production technology using 150 kg of raw materials provided by the customer. Samples of the characteristics of the results of the granulation experiment were given to the Customer, and its representatives is currently studying the obtained granules after completion.
This solution enables the customer to significantly reduce the costs of using and transporting such waste, as these residues remain quite voluminous and very easily removed. It also allows the client to use pellets for heating their own premises in the winter, after obtaining high-quality pellets and can be used as biofuel for automated combustion in boilers.
The project is included in the investment plan of the enterprise, we expect the implementation of this decision.
