Supply of a sunflower husk pelletizing line with a capacity of 5.5 t/h
An enterprise specializing in the storage and processing of oilseeds will soon significantly expand its production capabilities in the biofuel sector, thanks to the installation of an additional TM Grantech pelletizing line.
The new line will complement the existing GTL-500D pelletizing lines, which were successfully commissioned by ICK Group in 2019.
This line is designed for pelletizing sunflower and soybean husks, raw materials that are by-products of the enterprise’s main production. Its capacity reaches 5.5 t/h. The line is developed based on the high-performance GT-800D granulator.
The uniqueness of this project lies in the re-profiling of existing production capacities: previously, one line was used for pelletizing meal, and another for sunflower husks. After the launch of this new, third line, two of them will focus on processing meal, while the new one will specialize in pelletizing husks. Currently, commissioning works are underway at the site and are planned to be completed in June 2025.

The implementation of the GTL-800D pelletizing line will provide significant advantages to the enterprise. An increase in overall productivity is expected, specifically, the volume of meal processing will grow due to expanded production capabilities. Furthermore, the enterprise will be able to effectively utilize production waste, transforming it into a valuable energy resource – industrial fuel pellets. This will not only increase the economic efficiency of the enterprise but also contribute to more environmentally friendly production.
